Serre Chevalier Vallée is one of Europe's largest Winter Ski Resorts...covering more than 250 km of extensive ski terrain at altitudes between 1200 and 2830 metres, for beginners to expert skiers & snowboarders.
Serre Chevalier consists of 13 hamlets & villages extending along a south-facing Valley from the Col du Lauteret to the town of Briançon, with 4 Resort Ski Stations linked by a vast, efficient lift system and local shuttle bus. High Altitude, North-facing slopes and majestic SUMMITS reaching 4000 metres, combined with 300+ days of SUNSHINE, FRESH AIR and good SNOW RELIABILITY create a WINTER WONDERLAND for sports enthusiasts and leisure activities.

A vast ski area with great skiing...250 km of varied ski runs (155 miles) at the base of the Les Ecrins National Park, with 66 lifts, 107 ski runs and a lift capacity of 76, 400 people per hour.
Skiing...Nursery slopes, long, gentle slopes & vertical descents, SNOWPARK, Night skiing & designated family areas for all levels. TREE SKIING in the larch forests and OFF-PISTE options (including La Grave & nearby ski resorts) for adventurous & advanced skiers along with 35km+ of Nordic trails, Snow shoe & walking trails for nature & outdoor enthusiasts.
Winter activities...Snowmobiling, Snowkiting, Paragliding, Ice carting/driving, Ice skating & the world’s 1st Grooming School provide other activity options

Serre Chevalier offers outstanding skiing with most skiing above 2OOOm on North-facing slopes and natural snow. This combined with abundant sunshine & an exceptional climate, ensures excellent ski conditions.
Snow Coverage is enhanced with Serre Chevalier having one of the largest snow making systems/snow cannon networks in Europe, covering more than 1/3 of the ski area (145 hectares).

Accessible by skiers & non-skiers: 3 village resort stations are linked to Briançon by a vast lift system and the local shuttle bus offering immediate access throughout the valley…
